The lamp to my thoughts : Swami Vivekananda

What comes first to your mind when you  come across the word ' Thought leader'.

○A person you admire.
○A person you take inspiration from.
○A person whose philosophy apply to your life as well.
○A person whom you think about when hurdles come up .

For me a thought leader ecompases all these aspects. Along with these, a thought leader makes us a good human being.

The ideals of a thought leader are the  stepping stones towards having a prememinent soul.

The personality of a person to me is the shadow of his/her thoughts. Thoughts which aren't predestined but manipulated with day to day happenings.

So as to make our personality firm, we need a strong thought leader.

  • A leader whose path seems the best path to walk on.
  • Whose teachings and philosophy confine the best out of us.
  • Makes us to have confidence on our words and deeds.
  • Leads us to success.
  • Visualise various forms of grotesque and work on it accordingly.

Menifesting all the ideals of the thought leader makes it easier for us to embrace even the most harsh situations of our life.

When harsh situations make me wobble, I think of one person whose thoughts make it vivid for me to choose which way to walk. He is none other than Swami Vivekananda.

He is the saintly guide whose teachings are the best motivation for the youths today. For years he had struggled to make our country India, a country with strong ethics.

India has been known as the country of vivid cultures had always been restricting itself to some limits. The thoughts Swamiji always had for his country, if implemented at his age would have made India stand apart from rest of the world years ago.

  1. His splendid speeches from Chicago to Almorah  have created a wide wave.
  2. His thoughts of educated India .
  3. His thoughts on karma yoga has always been the motivation to believe in the deeds(karma) we do.

His modern thoughts indeed has become a necessity for every citizen in today's world.

One of his saying "Educate and raise the masses, and thus alone a nation is possible." is an intriguing line by him which motivates me to stand up on my feet and rise as an asset to the world.
The most important thing in following the thought leader is the propensity towards his good thoughts and applying that in a better way to whatever we do.

 This outshines our character.

Swami Vivekananda's childhood incidents show his modesty and his outward view towards his nation. The priciples which he worked on as he grew up made him stand out among the crowd and, leave deep imprint in the lives of many people.  His thoughts about the nation he belonged to brought motivation and enlightment in the people abroad as well.
He became the most reknowned monk with an oracular personality.

His motivation led various other personalities to come along with him in the service of the nation.
One of them is the famous lady who came as boon to our society and worked for the upliftment of the women in India. She later came to be known as Sister Nivedita.  Her works were the execussion to the thoughts Swamiji had for the bright life of woman in India. He wished to literate the woman of  his nation who were deprived of their rights and, led down in the society. His thoughts  were of creating an equal strata among men and women of the nation.

Thus, his life history motivates me and many of us around the world to uplift our thoughts for the better future and, nurture  our personality to bring us up to such standards that it makes a huge difference in the society  in a positive way.

The major motif  behind having Swami Vivekananda as a thought leader is the enthusiasm in him to see through hurdles and and to be good person. His intense urge to work for the disabled and make his nation stand in unity ignites in me the passion towards working on inner beauty of the soul.
As his own sayings conveys"Let us do good because it is good to do good."

Hence, having Swamiji as the thought leader stands as the lamp shade showing us the correct path towards being an asset to the mankind.
